* If winner of the AOL for Broadband prize already has an active AOL for Broadband account in good standing, the account will be credited for one year (12 months) of service. If winner is already an AOL member at the time of receiving prize, his/her account must be in good standing in order to receive all of the benefits of the prize (no Terms of Service violations). Winner will be required to register for the AOL for Broadband service. In order to register, you must be 18 years of age or older, reside in the U.S., and have a major credit card or checking account. Winner must agree to and comply with the AOL for Broadband Terms of Service (TOS). Prize includes waiver of one (1) year of AOL for Broadband monthly service fees ($24.95 per month). Prize does not include a high-speed Internet connection. Winner will be responsible for all applicable taxes and other service fees. To avoid being charged future AOL for Broadband monthly fees, winners must cancel AOL for Broadband service before the end of the one (1) year promotional period. Prize (AOL for Broadband service or AOL membership) must be activated within six (6) months of prize receipt or winner forfeits prize.
HOW TO ENTER: No purchase necessary. This Sweepstakes begins November 1, 2004 and ends December 31, 2004, (the “Entry Period”). Only one entry per person allowed.
ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States, who prior to the Start Date have an Internet service provider account in good standing with either free Internet access or a flat-monthly fee structure. Void where prohibited by law. Employees and their immediate families, including household members, of IMAX Theatre or their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: You must be the authorized account holder of the e-mail address by which an entry is made. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Entries specifying an invalid or inactive email address will be disqualified and ineligible to win. All entries become the property of Sponsors. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements. By entering this Promotion, you consent to Sponsor's use of your name for promotional purposes, including online announcements, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Neither Sponsors, their parents, nor their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies, or any telephone network or service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any Web site or online service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, misdirected, or illegible entries, or lost entries submitted in person. All entries subject to permission marketing.
PRIZE: Entrant who is notified that his/her entry was selected in the random drawing is a Potential Winner. The Potential Winner will be notified via email that they have won. Potential Winner is not a Winner until he/she has returned all required documentation and his/her eligibility has been verified by Sponsor. Potential Winner must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. Except where prohibited, Potential Winner may be required to sign and return to Sponsor, an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release in order to claim their Prize. Winner is solely responsible for any and all applicable fees and taxes associated with Prize receipt and use.
Prize will be left at the IMAX Theatre Box office for pick-up. The IMAX Theatre is not responsible for delivering the prize and will only award prize to the person who shows proof of person at the theatre.
Decisions of Sponsor are final and binding
ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
DRAWING: Winner will be determined by a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during that Entry Period.
NOTIFICATION: The selected winner will be notified by e-mail. If the prize notification e-mail is returned as undeliverable after three (3) attempts, the selected winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. If, in Sponsor's sole opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, Sponsors reserve the right to terminate the Sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the prizes or none of them, using all entries received as of the termination date. Any attempt to damage the content or operation of this Sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action by Sponsors or their agents.
GENERAL: This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws. Void where prohibited. Entrants and winner agree that Sponsors, their parents, affiliates and their agencies and employees shall not be liable for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or from the acceptance or use of any prize awarded.
